Optimod 8500FM vs. Omnia 6exi – welcher ist besser?

Hallo Radiofreunde,

welcher dieser Prozessoren ist besser in Punkto Einhaltung der MPX-Richtlinien, Klang etc.? Welche Erfahrungen habt Ihr mit den Geräten? Klar ist es klanglich gesehen warscheinlich Geschmacksache...

IMHO, the omnia 6 EXI HD/FM and the Orban 8500 are two very different processors.

if you want to go loud all the way and like fat bass and clipped high, you should choose the 8500.

If you want to sound very easy but loud also, and you want the highest grade of clarity ever with broad deep bass and crystal clear highs, you should choose the Omnia 6FM!


Both the boxes have excellent stereoencoding and both are perfectly suited to "process" between the lines.

If you really must make a choice, i think you should try both the Orban 8500 and the Omnia 6, than, both the processors are very good, but both can sound total different.

one last remark: input = output, so if you send crap in, you'll get crap out!

Das Video kenne ich....nett

Habe nun einige 8500FM Only bestellt und im Einsatz....

Klingen sehr gut, das mit den Höhen kann ich nicht bestätigen...kommt immer auf die Einstellung an! Knackige Bässe und seidige Höhen....ohne Pumpen
Der Omnia 6 neigt schnell zum pumpen...da taugt der MPX-Limiter nichts, so unsere Erfahrung...
