Hallo,

ich suche Non-Weihnachtslieder, die in der Weihnachtszeit aber häufig gespielt werden. Ein klassisches Beispiel ist Milk Toast and Honey von Roxette.
Suche dringend ein paar Anregungen, welche Songs ihr mit der Weihnachtszeit verbindet und die in einer guten Weihnachtsrotation nicht fehlen sollten.

Ich kenne die Kritik über die nervigen Weihnachtssongs in den Rotationen, aber hier geht es um einen reinen Weihnachtssender, sprich wer zuhört, will es auch so :)

Origineller wäre ein Sender, der keine Weihnachtsmusik spielt! Aber das soll wohl ein Traum bleiben; "Last Christmas" läuft schon nach den Sommerferien in manchen Sendern....

Ich vermute, er meint Titel, die den Begriff "Weihnachten" nicht thematisieren, aber trotzdem weihnachtliche Stimmung verbreiten. Wie z.B. "Den Vilda" bzw. "The wilderness mistress" von One More Time, für mich der Weihnachtstitel schlechthin, obwohl er nun überhaupt gar nix mit dem Thema zu tun hat!

Auf den NRW-Lokalradios wird zur Weihnachtszeit häufig der Titel "We Are The World" von U.S.A. For Africa gespielt, obwohl dies auch kein Weihnachtslied ist (liegt wohl an dem wohltätigen Zweck, der mit diesem Song verbunden war/ist).

Ebenso "The power of love" von Frankie goes to Hollywood.

An Heiligabend bot Radio NRW früher immer ein schönes und sehr gut hörbares Weihnachtsprogramm - ist das heute eigentlich noch immer so? :confused:

Auch "Stop the Cavalry" vom legendären Jona Lewie wird gern um Weihnachten ausgegraben, weil dort in einer Textzeile "Christmas" erwähnt wird.
Irgendjemand hat wohl mal eine Songtextdatenbank nach entsprechenden Wörtern gescannt und dann eine Weihnachtsrotation gebastelt...und alle machen es nach.
